Try Before You Fly – Aeroplane assessment
At Munro Therapy Services whatever our client’s goals we will do all we can to achieve them. Our client Claire wants to go on a holiday abroad again.
Claire has an above-knee amputation and wanted to practice going on an aeroplane whilst wearing her prosthesis.
Liz Taylor accompanied Claire to the Wiliam Merrit Centre in Leeds, to assess how she would be able to manage various aspects of this task- & Claire smashed it! They also found out loads of really useful information to help Claire prepare for her first flight…watch this space!

Rehab Assistant- Playing Pool
Today our Rehab Assistant, Emma Shiels accompanied a client of ours to play pool. She lost by quite a margin! The client used this aid from Cannonaid to help him use the cue as he has limited use of one of his arms.
Here is what Emma said about the session "Today is one of many reasons why I love what I do! Seeing our client enjoy a game of pool with the use of just one arm was fantastic the equipment we have sourced for him really enabled him to play independently, enjoy the game and win"

Following the latest government guidelines and daily updates, MTS would like to reassure you that we have existing Business Continuity Plans in place to ensure minimal disruption to our customers and, most importantly, to our clients.
The health and safety of our customers, clients, staff, and their families are our priority, that’s why all staff at our Head Office in Manchester have been working remotely from home since 5th January 2021.
We have adapted our services to ensure rehabilitation can be offered where possible, via telephone calls and face to face video meetings to guarantee we provide the expected high standard of support to our clients
